Sigiri Roofings (Private) Limited incorporated as limited liability company on 30/07/2009 which is engaged in manufacturing roofing sheets and ceiling sheets with introducing their product line to the Sri Lankan market from December 2009.It is a subsidiary of NibhiIndustries, India. It has been established under the 300 industry Gamata Karmantha Programme in 2009. Sigiri Roofing will produce quality fiber cement corrugate roofing sheets, ceiling sheets and accessories using modern technology with the modern machinery installed.
Nibhi Industries has already established two factories to manufacture fiber cement roofing product in Madya Pradesh and the other in Bihari. The third one has established at Tharawilluwa, Bathuluoya, Sri Lanka. The total investment of the project is Rs 800 million and provided 150 to 200 job opportunities for the area.
Sigiri Roofing Chairman S.A Bhimaraja has wide experience in this field as well as related products. His vision is to utilize all of his experience and unutilized machine capacity to further expansion of the business.
